Whether you want to order from American Bar & Grill’s wine list with confidence or you’re determined to “crack the code” of wine labels, you’ll find a comprehensive guide to wine, grape varietals, styles, winegrowing regions and pairings with food through the Club’s Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 course.
Taught over eight evenings by Kanako Ijichi, the Club’s wine program manager, this course provides participants with an excellent base understanding of wine and how to describe it through a combination of theory and tasting.
While the program doesn’t require participants to have completed Level 1, it is a natural next step for those Members who passed the Level 1 course last year.
The curriculum culminates in a 60-minute exam on April 5. Successful candidates will receive an official WSET certificate and lapel pin.
